We were very sad to learn of the passing of one of our Patrons – David Lyon.
David was a longstanding member of the Club, and it was always a pleasure to be in his company. A stalwart on the banking David would offer quiet but knowledgeable support to the team.
David took a keen interest in all the club’s activities and even though well into his 80s prior to the pandemic starting he was a regular attender at Stoneyhill on a Tuesday evening where he would come across other members of his vintage.
David’s funeral will take place at Mortonhall Crematorium, on Tuesday 27th July at 10.00.
Our thoughts are with his family at this difficult time.
