Information for Musselburgh Sevens

Saturday sees the return of Musselburgh's Annual Sevens Tournament for the 78th time where twelve teams will compete for the Brunton Cup, won last year by Heriot's.

All the information you need to know before the big event is below.


Stoneyhill's gates and clubhouse are open from 12pm, with the first game scheduled to start at 1pm. The final shall be around roughly 6pm. Entry is £5 for adults with U16's in for free with card and cash accepted at all three gates (Clubhouse, Stoneyhill Community Centre and Olivebank Road).


There will be burgers available to purchase from our outdoor BBQ located on the hill, where there will also be outside bar open 12-7.30pm.


Inside, our main bar will be open all day with the Ramsay Smith Lounge (cash only) open from 2-8pm.


Please note that there is limited parking at Stoneyhill which shall be reserved for Players, Officials, and Blue Badge Holders. On street parking Is limited so we therefore recommend using public transport where possible.

 

Stoneyhill is well served with Public Transport by Bus and Rail:

  • Approx 500m walk from The Ship Inn Bus Stop (26, 44, 30)

  • Approx 1.2km walk from Musselburgh Rail Station (North Berwick Line)


As on street parking is limited within the residential area of Eskview close to Stoneyhill, we recommend if travelling by car parking away from the immediate vicinity of the ground. There are several Car Parks in close proximity and short walking distance to the ground at Tesco, Iceland and around Eskmills.


As per club guidelines, there will be no under 18s allowed in the clubhouse after 8pm.
